Caught during the rehearsal in a public sports complex in Carmen, few minutes before their competition which will be held at what-seemingly-look-like a mini amphitheater in front of the municipality hall. Winning 4 of the minor awards during the 38th Sinulog in Carmen Cebu, Lumad Basakanon was baffled with the judges' decision where they land 3rd place after Talamban and Talisay City, 1st and 2nd placers respectively. Both of the latter won 1st during the Sinulog sa Kabataan sa Dakbayan and Lalawigan (Sinulog of the Youth in the City and Province), respectively. LB won minor awards: Best in Street Dancing, Best Choreography, Best Musicality and Peoples' Choice Award. PS Due to schedule conflict, I was not able to join them but I was able to serve them with my photography and videography services and handing over a bagful of salt and water to quench their thirst.
