Jeep crashes through gate and speeds onto Philadelphia International Airport runway. 6abc: Kenneth Mazik faces DUI and related charges after police say he drove through a gate at Philadelphia International Airport. Police say at just after 10:00 am a Jeep Cherokee rammed through Gate 25 near Hog Island Road at the west end of the airport. Witnesses say Mazik was parked outside the gate apparently waiting for one of the planes to come in for a landing. As an incoming plane approached he then allegedly accelerated - blasting through the gate and onto airport property. Those who saw the incident unfold say it appears as though Mazik attempted to time it so that the Jeep would meet the plane as it landed. Police say the vehicle never made it to the runway as officers were able to stop Mazik. One plane just about to land had to be diverted as air traffic controllers struggled to get a handle on the situation.

A Polish airlines LOT plane flying from Newark airport, New York, with 230 passengers on board has made an emergency landing in Warsaw after its landing gear failed to deploy. The runway was covered with flame retardant foam to prevent the plane catching fire. As soon as it came to a standstill, firefighters hosed the airliner with water and foam as a precautionary measure. All 230 passengers on board were safely evacuated soon after it landed. My short review. This game has no sounds that would be at least interesting. So I decided to play the radio. Graphics: 0/5 Horrible - As you can see for yourself, the graphics aren't really good. There was no work placed in it. Sounds: 0/5 Horrible - Short list; vehicles makes the same, very little sound, planes have a normal sound like any other plane has. That's actually all when it comes to sounds. Gameplay: 1/5 Very bad - It has a goal, but you need at least 24 hours to complete it. It's not really that hard and there is no menu to make it a bit more easy or harder. Story Line: 0/5 Horrible - There actually is no story! Just buy these "helprs" and let them work for you. Options: 0/5 Horrible - There are totally no options you can select in this game. Difficulty, graphics, gameplay, maps,... all of that was left out. Various Heavy departures off of RWY 09R at London Heathrow Airport on a damp foggy morning on Monday 21st November 2011! Due to extremely dense fog the previous evening and indeed early that morning there were huge delays and many cancellations (mainly on shorthaul flights to europe and around the UK, but some long haul flights were also affected) resulting in a very busy morning for "heavy" longhaul departures some which should have left the previous evening but couldn't! This was the most I've ever seen a continuous row of heavy departures on average it was about 7 or 8 heavies to every 1 narrow body aircraft which was brilliant for filming! At 1 stage there was a point of about 25 -30 mins where there was no short-haul aircraft at all! Another thing I noticed was the que at the far end of the runway for aircraft waiting to take off was much shorter than it usually is, the Qantas A380 only took 12 mins from leaving the stand to being airbourne which is amazing on heathrow's standards! Some of the aircraft included are: Virgin Atlantic 747's, A340-600 & A340-300, BA 747's, 777's and 767's, Cathay Pacific 747, Singapore A380, Qantas A380, Air China A330, BMI A330, Air Canada A330 & 767, American Airlines and united 777's and much, much more!!!
