Born in Flint, Michigan and moved to Fort Worth, Texas. Breed is also known as the first commercially successful rapper to come out of the Midwest. MC Breed's first album was released with rap group DFC and was entitled MC Breed & DFC for independent record label, SDEG Records. His solo debut was 1992's 20 Below, after which he released 1993's The New Breed. He would go on to have a very extensive discography and have a very long career that was at times successful, but he never fully broke into the mainstream. His highest charting album was 1994's Funkafied, which peaked at #106 on the Billboard Hot 200. Through his career he would align himself with various rap scenes. Early in his career with DFC, he and the group were independents, as one of the first groups out of the midwest. However, later in his career he aligned himself with the West Coast, taking on more of a G-Funk sound and befriending West Coast rapper Too Short. DFC (Dope Flint Connection or Da Flint Crew) was an American hip hop duo composed of Flint, Michigan natives Alpha "Al" Breed and Bobby "T-Dub" Thompson. They were closely associated with MC Breed who was also Al's cousin. MC Breed and DFC released their collaborative debut album on November 11, 1991 entitled MC Breed & DFC, which charted at 142 on the Billboard 200 and featured their most successful single, "Ain't No Future in Yo' Frontin'". After MC Breed & DFC, DFC signed with Atlantic Records and were placed on their subsidiary Big Beat Records. They then released 1994's Things in tha Hood which became their most successful album, peaking at 71 on the Billboard 200 and spawning the singles "Caps Get Peeled" and "Thing in tha Hood". They followed up with 1997's The Whole World's Rotten, but disbanded in 1999 after appearing on MC Breed's It's All Good. Harry Hardy recollects his WWII experiences in 440 Squadron, Canadian Typhoon Fighter Bomber Wing. Harry flew a total of 96 combat sorties in support of the Canadian and British armies (from Normandy to the crossing of the Rhine) in a plane the world would come to know as the loveable "Tiffie". His planes Pulverizer II, and Pulverizer IV have been captured in historical photographs, and depicted throughout artists renditions across the world. He carried with him a box camera throughout the war, and in this presentation, looks back through a few of his stills, logbook entries, and memories.

DFC Pakistan 2010: PECHS Girls School
PECHS Girls School's entry for Design for Change Pakistan 2010: Perturbed by the scores of risks of using polythene bags, schoolchildren in Karachi launched a bold campaign in their community to raise awareness about using paper bags instead of polythene bags. Engaging their peers to make their own paper bags for this campaign, students went out into the community to visit a local mithai shop, a bakery, a general store as well other shops with the intent of educating them about using paper bags which they carried bundles of to give them! Follow up visits were also conducted to these stores to ensure that they were acting on their pledge to the students to reduce use of polythene bags in favour of paper bags.

T-Rex 550 DFC Hard 3D Flight Boomstrike Attempt!
This is the 7th flight with the new DFC head fitted. Up until now it's been great, but I really wanted to see if it would boom strike as the head sits around 2 inches lower than the stock FBL head. I threw everything I could at it, over-pitching hard stops and reversals. Watch the video to see the result!
