A journey on the Heathrow Pod from Station A to Terminal 5. The Heathrow Pod is a "personal rapid transit" system developed by ULTra. Pods run on demand between Terminal 5 of London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and two stations in the business car park. Select your destination - either Station A, Station B or Terminal 5 - using the touch screen and a Pod will head your way. When it arrives, get in, close the doors, press the start button and you're off. This is the first public installation of this type of personal rapid transit system anywhere in the world. Heathrow has launched its Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) pod, the first new example of transit technology in 100 years. The pods will carry the 500000 passengers travelling between the Terminal 5 Business Car Park and the main terminal each year. Each temperature-controlled Heathrow pod has been designed for privacy and comfort and allows passengers to select their own direct destination. There are no timetables as a central computer ensures that pods are distributed at each station according to passenger demand. When waiting for a passenger, the pods recharge themselves at battery points, so are always ready to go. The Heathrow pods were designed and built in Britain by ULTra PRT.

This is taken when they arrived from Belfast, they signed a few autographs before heading to the lift! I didn't get anything signed by them, cos I was trying to film and my album got stuck but I was so happy to see them in real life. TOP and Taeyang signed their autographs for fans~ Seungri was so hidden.. It was so nice to see Daesung smile, especially after all that's happened. So I'm glad he smiled when we saw him~ made me not getting a autograph a bit better :) I saw them depart but my camera refused to turn on so I couldn't film it :(

Various Heavy departures off of RWY 09R at London Heathrow Airport on a damp foggy morning on Monday 21st November 2011! Due to extremely dense fog the previous evening and indeed early that morning there were huge delays and many cancellations (mainly on shorthaul flights to europe and around the UK, but some long haul flights were also affected) resulting in a very busy morning for "heavy" longhaul departures some which should have left the previous evening but couldn't! This was the most I've ever seen a continuous row of heavy departures on average it was about 7 or 8 heavies to every 1 narrow body aircraft which was brilliant for filming! At 1 stage there was a point of about 25 -30 mins where there was no short-haul aircraft at all! Another thing I noticed was the que at the far end of the runway for aircraft waiting to take off was much shorter than it usually is, the Qantas A380 only took 12 mins from leaving the stand to being airbourne which is amazing on heathrow's standards! Some of the aircraft included are: Virgin Atlantic 747's, A340-600 & A340-300, BA 747's, 777's and 767's, Cathay Pacific 747, Singapore A380, Qantas A380, Air China A330, BMI A330, Air Canada A330 & 767, American Airlines and united 777's and much, much more!!!
