in.reuters.com -------------------- Iran tests new radar as war games continue --------------- Iran has tested a new radar system, a military commander said on Wednesday, as part of a show of strength it hopes will warn Israel and the United States against any attack. On day three of a 10-day military exercise, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guards' aerospace division, said the new radar system, called Ghadir, was used for the first time. "The Ghadir radar has been designed and built to detect airborne targets, radar-evading planes, cruise and ballistic missiles and low-orbit satellites," he was quoted as saying by the student news agency ISNA. The radar has a range of 1100 km (680 miles) and a height of 300 km (190 miles), he said. As part of the "Great Prophet 6" exercise, Iran test-fired surface-to-surface missiles on Tuesday, with a maximum range of 2000 km (1250 miles), emphasising it could hit Israel or US targets in the region in the event of attack. The United States and Israel have said they do not rule out military strikes on Iran if diplomatic means fail to stop it developing nuclear weapons. Tehran says its uranium enrichment programme is geared to producing electricity, not atom bombs.

'The Khatam-ol-Anbiya Air Base has the capability of detecting, identifying, pursuing, and targeting any kind of stealth planes and any kind of cruise missiles of the enemy,' Commander of Khatam-ol-Anbiya Airbase Brigadier General Farzad Ismaili told reporters. The army officials said for over thirty years, Iranian forces have been on highest state of alert against external threats in particular by the United States and therefore today possesses all necessary capabilities to deal such threats. He also said further sanctions by the United States and its allies will have little negative influence on Iran except making the country even stronger than before. This is Kid Dracula more or less, based on the watered down Game Boy version released around the same time I think. Boka Dracula-kun itself is based on Castlevania, or it seems like more of a parody, which should be very noticeable when you see it's cartoon-like renditions of many well known enemies. The music and graphics are also lighter and much less gloomy and dark. The game is patched in English, so some text is not readable.

The AppBlaster brings that added dimension of fun to games for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Once you purchase the AppBlaster product, download the first app, Alien Attack, for free from the Apple store. Then place your iPhone or iPod into a mounting bracket that sits on top of the blaster. (The mounting bracket fits the iPhone 3GS, but comes with two insert plates so that the iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4 fit.) The mounting bracket snaps on top of the AppBlaster. Alien Attack uses the camera and gives you an image of aliens on the screen. Move the blaster around and take out the aliens when they appear on screen. The game interface has a radar screen at the bottom to show you where the aliens are and help you as you move around to find them. The game is 360 degrees, which means that aliens may be hiding all around you. The blaster uses dual triggers to conduct the heat from your fingers to the iPod to activate the game. The blaster can also be adapted to use with or without the stock depending on which is more comfortable for you. More apps that work with the blaster will be coming soon.

www.terminalx.org ------------------- Iran to test supersonic missiles at sea The Aerospace Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said Iran plans to test-fire new "supersonic surface-to- sea missiles" as part of its war games in the Persian Gulf in the coming days, the English language satellite Press TV reported on Monday. Hajizadeh said that the new missiles have been designed to target ships and forces at sea, said the report. "Last year, we achieved (the technology of) new anti-ship missiles that can hit targets with multiple speed of sound," he was quoted as saying. The upgraded missiles will soon be used in the naval phase of the IRGC's ongoing Great Prophet 6 missile drills. The senior naval commander of the IRGC, Brigadier General Ali Razmjou, said Sunday that his forces are equipped with modern short and medium range missiles in the Persian Gulf. Razmjou said "a considerable number of speed vessels, and vessels that can carry different kinds of missile and torpedo launchers have joined the IRGC's Navy." Supplying the IRGC forces with advanced equipment was aimed at increasing "Iran's defensive and deterrence power" in order to "maintain the stable security of the strategic area of the Persian Gulf," Razmjou was quoted as saying by Press TV.
