Toyota will release its production Plug-in Prius in early 2012, 8+ years after Felix customized his. Toyota's Plug-in Prius is not impressive in my opinion, it can only do 12 to 14 miles on battery power before the gas engine kicks in again. Felix's Target of 30 miles range is still an unfulfilled dream.
